iStent infinite® is a versatile treatment option designed to create open pathways that maximize the drainage of eye fluid, helping to relieve eye pressure and slow the progression of glaucoma.
iStent infinite® uses 3 micro-sized stents to create openings through the trabecular meshwork, helping the fluid in the eye drain properly.
These stents are so small that you will not be able to see or feel them, but they are designed to work constantly to reduce eye pressure.
Unlike more invasive glaucoma surgeries, iStent infinite® preserves 97% of your eye’s natural tissue.
Despite advancements in technology, glaucoma medications remain the dominant treatment plan for patients. Unfortunately, glaucoma medications are bothersome to many.
Darkening Skin Around the Eye
Glaucoma medications can also interfere with your routine for the rest of your life, requiring you to make time to take them daily, ensure they are applied correctly, and continue paying for refills. Even when taking glaucoma medications, you may still be at risk of disease progression.
New Possibilities Are a Reality
iStent infinite® is designed to tackle even tough-to-treat glaucoma effectively and safely:
