Karen 

Karen is a member of our team of Patient Service Representatives. She has been in the industry for years and with McKnight Eye Centers for 8 years. Karen assists in both Check-in and Check-out responsibilities along with any insurance questions and referrals that may come up at the front desk. In her personal time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family. She and her family live on their family farm and enjoys spending time fishing and being outdoors. She resides in Turney, MO.

Lindsay

Lindsay is a member of our team of Patient Service Representatives. Lindsay has been working in the industry for 15 years and has been with our office for 9 years. In her free time Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family which includes her Husband, their son, 2 cats, and 1 dog. She also enjoys the flea market, crafting, and decorating.

Patricia

Patricia (Coworkers know her as PJ) began her working career as a switchboard operator for a Business College downtown Kansas City. She then went on to begin her career in the Medical Field in 1972 in a Private General Medical Practice as a patient service representative. She then moved to a Multi-Specialty Practice continuing to work as a Patient Service Representative with various other office duties. She started her career in Ophthalmology in 1984 working as a Team Leader over the front office, then moving to Administrative assistant, and on to Administrator over several locations. She joined McKnight Eye Centers in 2010 as a Patient Service Representative and is currently the initial person to handle incoming calls, all medical records requests & scheduling of appointments. PJ has 4 daughters, 10 grandchildren, & 2 great-grandchildren. All of her family live close so that she is able to spend lots of time with them. She resides in Kansas City, MO.

Kimi

Kimi has worked in the medical field for 15 years. She is married with 4 children 2 boys, 2 girls and 5 grandchildren. Kimi loves spending time with her family in her free time. Kimi also loves animals, gardening, canning, foraging, cooking and horse back riding. Kimi resides in Kingston MO

Cary 

Cary has been a part of the McKnight Eye Center Family since 2012, and she has over 20 years of experience working as an eye care professional. She holds multiple undergraduate degrees and studied at the University of Houston College Of Optometry. Cary is very versatile in our practice. Currently her day-to-day duties focus on working with our patients getting them ready for the doctor. She is also trained as a medical scribe to capture, and record chart notes correctly and efficiently. In addition to her work at MEC, she is also an Adjunct Professor teaching for the Biology Department at Kansas City Metro Community Colleges. Cary enjoys crafting and cheering on KU with her dog Henry. She resides in Kansas City, MO.

Alex

Alex has 6 years of eye care experience. Her passion has always been in eye care and she looks forward to learning and expanding her knowledge here at McKnight Eye Centers. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 daughters, ages 11,9 and 2, doing anything outdoors.

Miranda

Miranda is a member of our diagnostic imaging and discharging team. She has been with our office for 5 years and has never let her smile leave her face while taking care of our patients. Miranda always makes an effort to make the patient's experience at our office better than the last. In her personal time, Miranda enjoys playing volleyball or spending time with her family which includes her husband, their 2 children and two dogs Ruger, and Benelli. She and her family spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors and fishing. She resides in Excelsior Springs, MO.

Hanna

Hanna has been in the medical field for 3 years, but she is new to ophthalmology, and is thrilled to learn and grow in this industry. Hanna enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, gardening, and just enjoying the outdoors.

Alyssa

Alyssa is brand new to the field and is super excited to see what her future brings. Alyssa is eager to learn something new each day to expand her knowledge. Alyssa loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Blue

Blue brings with her 10 years of experience in Optometry. She is new to the Ophthalmology field but is a very quick learner. She enjoys patient care above all things and is eager to learn as much as she can and grow in the field. Outside of the office she likes to spend time with her family, read and hang out with her dogs.

Banks

Banks has been in the field for 5 years. He started in Retina and now is thriving in our Glaucoma clinic. Banks likes to spend his free time with his family and making memories. He loves baseball and you'll notice that with his son's name Boston and his pup named Fenway. He does have another dog Stella that he also loves dearly.

Lindsey

Lindsey is happy to be on board here at Mcknight Eye Center to expand her knowledge and make a difference in our patients' life. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her husband, two daughters and 3 dogs. She enjoys painting, disc golfing and spending most of her time outdoors doing fun adventures.

Ruth 

Ruth is a member of our insurance and billing team. She has been in the medical billing and coding industry for over 30 years, 7 of which have been spent here at McKnight Eye Centers. Ruth always makes an effort to explain the details of the patient’s bill anytime there are questions. In her personal time, Ruth enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoys being a part of her church worship team and serving in her community. She resides in Kansas City, MO.

Lisa

Lisa's twenty-four years of experience have made her an extremely valuable part of our team. She never shies away from a challenge and is eager to help everyone around her in making sure that our patients have the best care possible. Lisa is a mom to a science experiment-loving 11-year-old, so when she is not cleaning up overflowing volcanoes, she loves to dive into a good book, spend time with her rescue animals or pack up and head to the lake with her family.

Blakli

Blakli is new to McKnight Eye Centers and Ophthalmology. Blakli is eager to learn everything she can to be the best she can be for her patients. Blakli enjoys spending time with her friends, baking for those around her, and crafting.
