Miranda

Miranda has been a dedicated member of McKnight Eye Centers for over 10 years. She began her career as a technician and, through hard work and commitment, advanced to her current role as Front Desk Manager. Her experience across many positions has given her a well-rounded perspective on patient care and office operations.
A true patient advocate, Miranda strives to ensure every patient leaves with a smile and feels genuinely cared for. She goes above and beyond to turn difficult experiences into positive ones, always putting patient happiness first.
Outside of work, Miranda is a proud mom who cheers on her daughters at gymnastics meets, coaches cheerleading, and supports her local sports community. Go Tigers!

Patricia

Patricia, known as PJ, has worked in the medical field since 1972 and began her ophthalmology career in 1984. She joined McKnight Eye Centers in 2010 and currently manages incoming calls, medical records requests, and appointment scheduling. With decades of experience across multiple practices and leadership roles, PJ is a trusted resource for both patients and staff.
She lives in Kansas City, Missouri, and enjoys spending time with her four daughters, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all of whom live nearby.

Rachel

Rachel brings 15 years of experience in property management to her new role in ophthalmology. She joined McKnight Eye Centers as a Patient Care Representative and is excited to begin this new journey, eager to learn all she can to enhance the lives of patients and support their care.
Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys spending time with her four adult children, two grandbabies, and her beloved dogs—a 5-year-old Boxer named Negan and his Pitbull sidekick, Honey. She also loves reading, binging crime dramas, attending concerts, traveling to new places, and collecting unique rocks. Rachel resides in Liberty, Missouri.

April

April is new to both McKnight Eye Centers and the ophthalmology field, and she is excited to begin this new journey. Her passion for helping people is what led her to join the practice, where she looks forward to supporting patients and contributing to their care experience.
Outside of the office, April enjoys photography, taking walks with her dogs, and spending time exploring her hobbies. She resides in Kansas City, Missouri.

Olivia

Olivia is excited to begin her journey with McKnight Eye Centers and explore the field of ophthalmology. Although new to both the practice and the industry, she is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to providing excellent care for patients.
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks. She is a proud dog mom to her Golden Retriever, Luna, who accompanies her just about everywhere. Olivia also loves photography, cheering on the Chiefs and Royals, attending concerts, and finding new ways to enjoy nature. She resides in Liberty, Missouri.

Jonnie

Jonnie is new to the ophthalmology field and excited to begin her journey with McKnight Eye Centers. She looks forward to learning and growing in her role while contributing to the care and support of patients.
Family is at the heart of Jonnie’s life—she is a proud mother of eight (seven daughters and one son), a wife, and grandmother to one granddaughter. She also enjoys spending summers at the lake, adventuring whenever she can, and spending time with her dog. Jonnie resides in Liberty, Missouri.

Lindsay 

Lindsay describes herself as fun, loving, and outgoing, bringing warmth and energy to her role at McKnight Eye Centers. She has worked in healthcare for eight years, with prior experience specializing in medical billing and coding, giving her a strong foundation in both patient care and administrative support.
Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending time outdoors riding side-by-sides, traveling to new places, and getting lost in a good book. Her enthusiasm for life and dedication to helping others make her a valued member of the team.

Joanna

Joanna brings a wealth of experience and dedication to McKnight Eye Centers. She spent 22 years working in finance for a labor union before pursuing her passion for healthcare. Graduating with honors in Medical Billing and Coding and earning her CBCS certification, Joanna is excited to begin her new journey in the medical field and eager to learn and grow with the team.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys supporting her children at their competitive sporting events and spending time with her three children, their pets, friends, and family. Her personal passions include baking, gardening, and photography. Joanna resides in Kansas City, Missouri.

Miranda

Miranda joins McKnight Eye Centers with three years of experience working in Pre-K education and is excited to begin her journey in healthcare, specifically in ophthalmology.
She looks forward to learning and growing in her new role while supporting patients with care and compassion.Outside of work, Miranda’s favorite role is being a mom to her daughter, Maeleigh. She enjoys shopping, spending time with loved ones, and diving into a good book whenever she can.

Amanda

Amanda has worked in healthcare since 2011, following her start as a hair stylist in 2009. After experience in urology and oncology, she is excited to grow in ophthalmology. Amanda is married with three daughters—Tatum, Taylor, and Taylee—and enjoys family time, fishing, riding ATVs/UTVs, and supporting her girls as they show Hereford cattle. Known for her humor and positivity, she loves making patients and coworkers feel cared for.

Cary 

Cary has been part of McKnight Eye Centers since 2012 and brings over 20 years of experience in eye care. She prepares patients for their visits, serves as a trained medical scribe, and also teaches as an Adjunct Professor in the Biology Department at Kansas City Metro Community Colleges. Cary lives in Kansas City, Missouri, where she enjoys crafting and cheering on KU with her dog, Henry.

Hanna

Hanna has been in the medical field for three years and is excited to begin her journey in ophthalmology. She is eager to learn and grow within the industry while supporting patients with care and compassion.
Outside of work, Hanna enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, gardening, and making the most of the outdoors.

Cheyanne

Cheyanne brings extensive experience in the healthcare field to McKnight Eye Centers and is excited to begin her journey in ophthalmology. She has worked as a tech at Children’s Mercy ER, NKC Hospital, and in nursing homes, gaining valuable skills in patient care. In addition, she spent 12 years in general management at Sonic, where she developed strong leadership and organizational expertise.
Outside of work, Cheyanne is a proud mom of four children (ages 9, 8, 5, and almost 3) and loves spending every moment with them. Her weekends are often filled with sports activities, cheering her kids on from the sidelines. She resides in Excelsior Springs, Missouri—Go Tigers!

Shannon

Shannon brings over a decade of experience in general dentistry and three years in oral surgery to her new career path in ophthalmology. While new to the field, she is learning quickly and continues to enjoy providing excellent care to patients.
Outside of work, Shannon’s greatest joy is being a mom to her daughter and two bonus sons. She spends much of her free time supporting their extracurricular activities—whether it’s soccer, softball, football, or basketball. She also enjoys fishing, hunting, and cooking meals with family and friends.

Shelley

Shelley is new to the ophthalmology field and is excited to grow in her role while providing excellent patient care. She looks forward to learning and contributing to the team at McKnight Eye Centers.
Outside of work, Shelley enjoys spending time with her family, playing sports, traveling, and exploring the outdoors. She is also passionate about horseback riding and photography.

Morgan

Morgan is a recent graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia and is excited to begin her career in ophthalmology. While new to the field, she is eager to learn more about quality patient care and explore the many facets of the medical profession.
Outside of work, Morgan enjoys reading, creating art, and spending time with her friends. Her enthusiasm for learning and her warm personality make her a valued addition to the McKnight Eye Centers team.

Noah

Noah joined McKnight Eye Centers after spending nearly a year working in optometry, eager to expand his knowledge and experience in the medical side of eye care. Since starting in ophthalmology, he has thoroughly enjoyed learning and growing in the field while supporting patients with quality care.
Outside of work, Noah enjoys hiking with friends, spending time with family, and riding his motorcycle. His enthusiasm for both professional growth and personal adventure makes him a valued member of the team.

Cassie

Cassie joined McKnight Eye Centers in 2023 and began her journey in the world of ophthalmology. She is excited to grow in the field, eager to learn, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients. Cassie loves working with people and brings warmth and dedication to her role every day.
Outside of work, Cassie enjoys spending time with her cats, caring for her farm animals, and reading. Her enthusiasm for both professional growth and personal passions makes her a valued member of the team.

Kennedy

Kennedy has been working in eye care for one year, gaining valuable experience as a technologist at an optometric center. She is excited to expand her knowledge in ophthalmology and continue growing in the field while supporting patients with quality care.
Outside of work, Kennedy enjoys spending time with her family and being on their farm, where she finds relaxation and joy in the outdoors.

Loren

Loren brings prior experience in the medical field, having worked as both a CNA and an EKG Technician, to her new role in ophthalmology. She is excited to learn and grow in this specialty while supporting patients with compassionate care.
Outside of work, Loren enjoys gardening, reading, and cooking. At home, she shares life with her three cats—who amusingly act more like dogs—adding joy and personality to her everyday routine.

Delaney

Delaney has spent the last four years working in public health and healthcare, where she dedicated herself to helping people live their healthiest lives. She is excited to expand her career in ophthalmology and continue making a positive impact on patient care at McKnight Eye Centers.
Delaney resides in Liberty, Missouri, with her husband, Austin. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new coffee shops around Kansas City and caring for her collection of houseplants.

Emma

Emma has worked in the optometric field for over five years and is excited to expand her knowledge by learning more about the world of ophthalmology. She looks forward to growing in her role at McKnight Eye Centers while continuing to provide excellent patient care.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her energetic two-year-old daughter, often playing outdoors or gathering with family and friends. She has a passion for music and art and loves being part of the Kansas City community.

Allyson 

Allyson has been part of the McKnight Eye Centers team for about four years. She began her career at the front desk and quickly expanded her skills throughout the clinic, learning to tech, scribe, and assist with injections. In April 2025, Allyson earned her Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) credential and is now working toward her Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT).
Outside of work, Allyson enjoys spending time with her daughter and volunteering at the Humane Society of Ray County. Her dedication to both her patients and her community reflects her passion for helping others.

Blue 

Blue brings with her 10 years of experience in optometry and is excited to expand her expertise in the field of ophthalmology. A quick learner with a passion for patient care, she is eager to continue growing her skills and knowledge while supporting patients with compassion and professionalism.
Outside of the office, Blue enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and hanging out with her dogs. Her dedication to both her patients and her loved ones makes her a valued member of the McKnight Eye Centers team.

Lindsey 

Lindsey is excited to be part of the McKnight Eye Centers team, where she looks forward to expanding her knowledge and making a positive difference in the lives of patients. Her enthusiasm for learning and dedication to patient care make her a valued member of the clinic.
Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their three dogs. She loves painting, disc golfing, and spending most of her time outdoors on fun adventures with her family.

Katie

Katie Beth is new to the ophthalmology field and is excited to begin her journey in a new career. She looks forward to learning and growing while providing excellent care and support to patients at McKnight Eye Centers.
Outside of work, Katie Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring antique shops, and discovering unique vintage treasures. Her enthusiasm for both professional growth and personal passions makes her a valued member of the team.

Kari

Kari has worked in the eye care field for seven years and recently relocated back to her hometown of Kansas City. She is eager to expand her knowledge in ophthalmology and continue developing her skills across all aspects of the field.
Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with family and friends. She stays active through running, walking, hiking, and exploring new places, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm to her personal life as she does to patient care.

Ruth 

Ruth is a valued member of the insurance and billing team at McKnight Eye Centers. With over 30 years of experience in medical billing and coding, including the past seven years dedicated to our clinic, she brings expertise and compassion to every patient interaction. Ruth takes the time to explain billing details clearly, ensuring patients feel informed and supported.
Outside of work, Ruth enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She is also an active member of her church worship team and loves serving her community. Ruth resides in Kansas City, Missouri.

Blakli

Blakli has been with McKnight Eye Centers since 2022. She is eager to learn and grow, striving to be the best she can be for her patients while providing compassionate care and support.
Outside of work, Blakli enjoys spending time with her friends, baking treats to share with those around her, and crafting. Her enthusiasm for both personal and professional growth makes her a valued member of the team.

Brandi

Brandi is new to the medical field and excited to begin her career as a billing specialist at McKnight Eye Centers. She brings 25 years of retail management experience and a passion for helping others.
Outside of work, Brandi enjoys time with her husband, Michael, and their three children—a daughter in law school at UMKC, a son serving in the U.S. Air Force, and a middle school daughter. She also loves reading, fashion, and spending time outdoors.

Victoria

Victoria brings over 20 years of customer service experience to McKnight Eye Centers.
In addition to her professional background, she is a proud small business owner and has balanced her career with raising four children alongside her husband of 20 years.
Much of that time, she supported her family as a military wife, which instilled resilience and dedication that she carries into her work today.
Victoria is excited to join the McKnight team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients and colleagues for many years to come.

Angela

Angela brings 20 years of experience in the medical field to McKnight Eye Centers. While new to ophthalmology, she has been working in billing for nearly a year and previously served as a Medical Assistant.
Angela is excited to continue growing in her role and expanding her expertise in patient care and clinic operations.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her two daughters and granddaughter. She loves camping, fishing, and cheering on her granddaughter at her events, always making family time a priority.
